The Serbian government Adopted Extension of Deadline for Sale of Subsidized Fuel

The Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management to extend the validity of the Regulation under which farmers will have an opportunity to buy subsidized diesel fuel. Accordingly, farmers will be able to buy subsidized fuel at NIS petrol station untill 30 November 2012, i.e. 15 days longer than as stipulated by the applicable regulation. Farmers can purchase 40 liters of fuel per hectare of reported arable land at current retail price at NIS petrol stations and the cost will be subsequently recovered. Farmers need to pay particular attention that the exact number of registered farm is written down on the fiscal receipt when buying the fuel and to check the current retail price of fuel since the fuel prices are not the same all retail sites of distributors.
