Igor Korać, Deputy Director of the Block Energy, addressed the attendees on behalf of NIS. Thanks to the funds of NIS, solar photovoltaic panels were installed in the park, and were placed next to the existing wind generator, solar water heating collector and solar furnace. The aim of support provided to this project is the development of awareness of the need for energy saving and environmental protection, and in addition to the students of this school, all citizens of NIS will be able to acquire basic knowledge on the importance and benefits of renewable energy. The renewable energy park in Novi Sad is unique in Serbia. In addition to the practical demonstration, it will be the place for holding public forums and lectures on the importance of alternative energy sources in environmental protection and economical use of available energy sources.
