NIS – the Golden Sponsor of the two-day Create Your Future - Job Fair for engineering students and graduates held at the Technical Faculty in Belgrade on November 5th. The gala opening was attended by NIS representatives, HRH Crown Prince Alexander II, representatives of Ministry of Youth and Sports, National Employment Agency and the Agency for European Integration. HR director, Nataša Stamenković, spoke on behalf of NIS: - As one of the largest and most popular employers in Serbia today, there are numerous reasons for starting your career at NIS. We are extremely proud that in 2012 we employed 300 young people with no work experience and allocated two million euro for the budget for training and development. Our presence at the Job Fair is a clear message to engineering students that our doors are opened to them. At the NIS stand, students will have the opportunity to learn about jobs and internships at our company; NIS representatives will participate at the Fair's Round Table on the topic of "Are We Ready for the Business World". As a part of a competition held at the Fair, NIS shall propose a case study and evaluate solutions and presentations on the topic of "Creating a NIS Programme for Attracting New Customers - Future Drivers". Students will receive an opportunity to show their skills in identifying and resolving issues by applying know-how gained during their education. Apart from NIS, this Fair is attended by other companies such as Microsoft, Grundfos, Telenor, Vip, Ball Packaging, and Holcim. The Job Fair is organised by the Belgrade Board of European Students of Technology (BEST) and the Belgrade Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EESTEC) student association with the support of Ministry of Youth and Sports.
