The thirteenth Science Festival, the largest manifestation of science and education promotion in the region, will be held from December 5 to December 8 under “Reveal” slogan, at Belgrade Fair, with the sponsorship of NIS.
28 November 2019For the seventh consecutive year, NIS Company has been the general sponsor of the Science Festival, which is this time, dedicated to revelation of misconceptions and myths with the help of science and scientific achievements, with unavoidable dash of entertainment, learning and socializing. Many different superstitious beliefs are related to number thirteen, but science has been a proven tool and reliable ally in revealing the truth.
This year’s Science Festival will be held in halls 3, 3A and 5 of Belgrade Fair, and it will gather more than 60 scientific and educational institutions and associations, as well as over 600 Serbian and international scientists.
This year, NIS Company is going to present itself by the exhibition titled Knowledge Motivates, specially created to guide all the interested visitors through real scientific adventure, through revelation of misconceptions and myths about energy, the subject that affects our daily life to a large scale, and also represents the essence of the company business. In this interesting corner in hall 3 of the Belgrade Fair, everyone who wants to try, is going to turn into explorer within NIS Escape Room, where correct answers found through teamwork, logical reasoning and ability to expose mysteries, will lead them to the exit. In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to take part in two experiments – with flying saucers and body weighing on the Solar System planets.

On that path, there is compatibility between Science Festival and our company. This week, we have marked ten years of cooperation with the Research Centre Petnica, and that is another project of NIS cooperation with science, that we are extremely proud of”, Director of External Communication of NIS, Stefan Despotovic said.
