The NIS Company is one of the most desirable employers for young people in Serbia and is open to innovation, energy and fresh ideas brought by young colleagues. That is why NIS invites students from selected faculties to start a paid internship in the company through the seventh season of the programme called “NIS Calling“. In this way, the company provides a chance for young people to gain experience in the oil industry and implement their knowledge in practice.
Students of the third and fourth year, and of master’s degree studies in Mining and Geology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Economics, Engineering, Faculty of Organisational Sciences, Technological and Metallurgical, Traffic, Law, Natural and Mathematics, Faculty of Technical Sciences and the Faculty of Chemistry can apply for the competition, which is open until April 24. Interested candidates should also have a good command of the English language, as well as to be skilled in the use of the MS Office package. Applications can be submitted at https://posao.nis.rs/prijava/nis-calling-praksa-6, and the selected 30 candidates will start their internship in the early July.
One of the advantages of the “NIS Calling” program is its flexibility, as it allows participants to use 480 working hours of practice during four months and coordinate them with their duties at the university. Also, the program envisages that each participant will receive his or her own mentor who will monitors their work and, in accordance with the pre-developed plan, provide them with support during activities in the company and during adaptation to the new environment. Students also have the opportunity to acquire additional education at the NIS Corporate University, where renowned domestic and foreign experts from various fields will lecture. It is planned that the internship will be carried out at NIS locations in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Zrenjanin, Pančevo, Kikinda, Elemir and Čačak.
