These days, 27 young experts selected at the competition of the “NIS Energy” program will start working at NIS, in accordance with the needs of the business. They concluded a one-year employment contract with the Company and have the option to continue working at NIS after the end of the program, if there is a mutual interest in doing so.
During this one-year paid programme, participants will undergo practical training in their field of business operation; they will have the opportunity to learn about all NIS business activities, as well as to hear lectures dedicated to trends in the oil industry. After six months of engagement at NIS, participants will have the opportunity to work on their own projects, and throughout the duration of the programme, they will have the support of mentors, employees of NIS, who will assist them during familiarisation with the company and colleagues, and also guide them in their further professional development.
In this cycle of the “NIS Energy” programme, graduates of the Mechanical, Technical, Technological-Metallurgical, Electrical Engineering, Mining-Geological Faculty, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Faculty of Organisational Sciences, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Traffic and Transportation, Faculty of Natural and Mathematical Sciences and other faculties could apply for the competition.
36 participants successfully completed the previous two seasons of “NIS Energy” and all of them remained in the team of around 12,000 NIS employees, even after the end of the programme. NIS continues to provide opportunities to young people, considering them to be carriers of new energy and ideas that will contribute to the further modernisation of the NIS Group.
